From 29 April - 2 May 2027, paper positions berlin will take place once again in the impressive main hall of the iconic Berlin-Tempelhof Airport, spanning over 2,500 square metres — held in parallel with the Gallery Weekend in Berlin.
paper positions berlin invites international galleries to apply by 10 January 2027 with their most important positions in contemporary and modern art, with a particular focus on works on and with paper. In 2026, the tenth edition of paper positions berlin featured 70 international galleries with outstanding positions in contemporary and modern art, focusing on drawing and the material paper.
The move into the main hall of Tempelhof Airport marks a significant milestone in the development of paper positions berlin and reflects its growing relevance within the art fair landscape. The new venue not only allows for a more intense engagement with the material of paper, but also highlights the fair’s distinctive concept: instead of traditional booths, paper positions berlin embraces the idea of a curated art salon.
